Who are we?

We are an amateur choir of fifty singers, drawing our membership from the villages in the valley of the River Endrick in Stirlingshire, Scotland. Led by our director, Mark Evans since 2007, he continues to inspire and improve us.

Our concert performances number two at Christmas and one in the Spring each year (see the ‘Concerts‘ tab for our next concerts). Our repertoire is largely classical and sacred music, ranging from the familiar to lesser-known modern compositions. Details of these and all our current activities can be found on our Facebook page . We’d appreciate it if you’d ‘like’ us.

New members are always welcome – especially altos, tenors and basses – so if you enjoy singing, however rusty, please get in touch. There is a short informal audition to recognise your vocal range. We rehearse in Balfron Church on Monday nights, 7.30-9.45pm, with a sociable tea break.

Where are we?

Strathendrick is the valley of the River Endrick which rises in the Gargunnock Hills, skirts Fintry, flows between Balfron and Killearn and close to Drymen, to enter Loch Lomond near Balmaha.

The choir has members from Killearn, Balfron, Drymen, Balmaha, Croftamie, Gartocharn, Strathblane, Gartmore, Aberfoyle, Kippen, and further afield from Dunblane, Bearsden and Milngavie.

We rehearse on Monday evenings at 7:30pm in Balfron Church, between September and April. Our concerts are usually in Killearn Kirk, but we have also sung in Gartmore, Kippen, Drymen, and Strathblane, as well as further afield.
